WaterSound Beach is located in the Florida panhandle, midway between Destin and Panama City.
Specifically, WaterSound Beach is tucked between Seaside and Rosemary Beach, south of Scenic Route 30-A, directly on the Gulf of Mexico.
The nearest airports are in Panama City (ECP – 30 minute drive) and Fort Walton Beach (VPS – 60 minute drive). Air fares vary, so check both airports.
Directions from Panama City Airport (ECP):
From airport, go right on Hwy 388 to intersection with CR79. Turn left on CR79 to intersection with Hwy 98. Turn right on Hwy 98, cross Lake Powell to intersection of Hwy 98 and Scenic Hwy 30-A. Turn left on 30-A for approximately 5 miles to WaterSound Beach.
Directions from Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS):
From airport, go right on SR 85-NE approx. 1.7 miles, then left on Highway 20-SE approx. 6 miles. Turn right on SR 293, going over the Mid-Bay Toll Bridge ($2) to Highway 98 E. Take a left on 98 E for approx. 16 miles to County Road 283. Take a right to County Road 30-A. Turn left on 30-A for approx 6.5 miles to WaterSound Beach.
